Alicia Rosado resides in upstate New York, graduated from Dutchess Community College '18 as a Communications and Media Arts major and from Hunter College ‘22 as a Media Studies major. As a transfer student, she became a MediaMKRS Career Exploration Participant at the end of her first semester at Hunter. After graduation, she was a Stockade Works Fellow for the Peacock series, Poker Face, which led her to develop interest in the inner workings of the camera department. When production ended, she started working as a Prep Technician at Panavision to obtain more knowledge about the gear.

In addition, she has worked on independent projects with colleagues. She was a 2nd AC for a music video, Dream Boy, by Son of Jacob, and recently was a 1st AC for a dance video that’s in post production. Furthermore, she would like to be a Director and Director of Photography for stories that shed light on Latinas and their experience in the US. Now, she's a Lead Prep Technician at Panavision and the next steps are to join the Local 600 as a Loader to then eventually be an educator for students who want to pursue a career in film.
