Media Career Pathways Program

The Media Career Pathways Program trains out-of-school and out-of-work young adults for careers in
media and entertainment.

Information Session: August 21st @ 5 PM!

Program Details:

  • Participants will meet with a social worker 1:1 to access resources that may be necessary for the successful completion of the program

  • Participants will attend workshops that prepare them for work within the media and entertainment industry from teaching artists and leading experts in the industry

  • Various companies will host participants for job shadowing experiences, bringing in elements of experiential learning

    Important Information:

    Time:

    2 Half Day every week for four months (September - January)

    • 1 day virtually in the evening and 1 day in person in the afternoon

    Location:

    540 President Street, Brooklyn, NY & Various Company Sites

    Applications:

    Open: August 14th

    Close: September 6th

ELIGIBILITY

  • Applicants must be between 18-24 years old and currently out-of-school and out-of-work/underemployed

  • Interested in the media and entertainment industry

  • Committed to completing the full four months of the program

  • NYC Residents eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Able to commute within the five boroughs
