Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Alexa James-Cardenas (She/Her) is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama with a BFA in Costume Design and has recently gotten into IATSE’s Local 705. Being a participant of theatre since a young age, Alexa has always had a passion for storytelling, bringing fiction to reality, and connecting with others. This passion has led her to the world of costuming and the joy of the collaboration behind the scenes. She has spent the last three years working on multiple productions as a costume PA and to be part of the union has been a long-time goal achieved. Alexa is excited to start her career as a costumer and establish a life in the entertainment world.
