IATSE Local 52 Studio Mechanics Video Assist Training
In partnership with the I.A.T.S.E Local 52 Union, Reel Works is hosting an intensive training program to prepare New Yorkers with the essential skills needed to work successfully on set as a Video Assist Operator.
What does it cost?
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid a stipend.
Who should apply?
Be 18+ years old with a HS diploma or its equivalent
Eligible to work in the US
A NY State Resident with a max 2 hours commute to NYC
Be familiar with audio/visual equipment
Have experience with live event production or on-set production
The ability to handle a fast-paced constantly changing environment
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability
Attention to detail
