Reel Works is launching the IATSE Local 489 Film Wardrobe Training to prepare Pittsburgh’s diverse talent with the essential skills, credentials, experience and attitude that costumers need to work successfully on set of TV and Film Productions in the Wardrobe Department - and a first step toward a union career!
This training is made possible by the support of Pittsburgh Film Office.
What does it cost?
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid to participate.
Who should apply?
18+ years old.
Must reside within commuting of Downtown Pittsburgh. Proof of residency will be required.
Legally eligible to work in the US.
Interested in fashion, clothing, sewing and working behind the scenes or on set for TV and Film.
A highly flexible, team-work oriented person who is charismatic and dependable.
