IATSE 705 Finished Costumer Training

I.A.T.S.E. Local 705 and Group Effort Initiative (GEI) are partnering with Reel Works to host an intensive training program to prepare rising costume professionals with the essential skills needed to work towards a career as a Finished Costumer.
What does it cost?
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid to participate.
Who should apply?
Be at least 21+ years of age
Not currently enrolled in full-time education
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide proof of residency in California with a 2-hour commuting distance from Los Angeles
Have knowledge of fashion and design/history of fashion and design
Proficient computer skills including but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing, and photo layout.
Must have a functional smartphone
We acknowledge that the media and entertainment industry can do better when it comes to access for media professionals from marginalized communities, including people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ people.
