IATSE Local 600 Loader Training
Reel Works and IATSE Local 600, International Cinematographers Guild are partnering to launch the IATSE Local 600 Loader Training to prepare New York’s talent with the essential skills, credentials, experience, and attitude that Camera Loaders need to work successfully on the set of TV and Film Productions in the Camera Department - and a first step toward a union career!
This training is made possible by the support of Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Empire State Development (ESD).
What does it cost?
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid a stipend.
Who should apply?
21+ years old
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Not in a full-time education program
Eligible to work in the US
NY Resident and able to provide proof of address
Must have a valid Driver’s License
A strong interest in working in the Camera Department
Past on-set experience, preferably as a PA
Organized, Detail oriented, and comfortable with performing repetitive tasks
Familiarity with camera equipment
